Preferred Specialisation: Preferably experience in handling sophisticated equipment such as modern chromatographic and MS techniques like UPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, NMR, ESR, SEM, TEM, MS, IMA, etc. and working knowledge in computer controlled experimental setups
Essential Qualification:
(i). The candidates shall have PhD in the relevant/ equivalent discipline with first classes in the proceeding degrees with minimum cumulative essential credit points. [For credit point details please refer to Gazette Notification no. S.O.947 (E ), published on 24th July 2017.] 
(ii). For existing regular faculty members of NIT Manipur, the one-time relaxations recommended by the anomaly committee issued vide letter no. F.No.33-9/2011-TS.III, dated 6th Oct 2017 and F.No.33 – 9/2011 –TS.III, dated 17 Nov 2017 will be considered.
(iii). Detailed information about qualification, experience and other terms & conditions along with Application Form may be downloaded from www.nitmanipur.ac.in.
Reservation shall be as per Government of India norm.
How to Apply: Application form duly filled in along with other essential documents and requisite fee of Rs 1000/- for General & OBC and Rs 500/- for SC/ST/PWD in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of Director, NIT Manipur payable at Imphal should reach Registrar, NIT Manipur on or before 15/01/2018.
NOTE
1). The candidates, who have applied earlier, in response to the previous Recruitment Notice No.
NITM.1/(2a-Estt)/MP/REG/2014/ 9925, May 16, 2016 need to apply a fresh as per new format. The old
applications will not be considered. However, such candidates need not to submit new demand draft.
They have to fill in the application with DD number from the previous advertisement.
2). Separate application must be submitted for each post/department.
3). Incomplete application will be rejected.
4). False data in credit points in the application form etc will result in rejection of your candidature.
5). Internal faculty can apply for next higher post irrespective of the vacancy if he/she is eligible.
